Essential Lifting Do’s and Don’ts for Back Safety in Construction
July 29, 2024At CAMComp, our mission is to ensure that our clients, no matter their size, can navigate the complexities of OSHA compliance with confidence. Tracy Nelson, our dedicated Loss Control Consultant, plays a crucial role in this process. Her expertise and commitment to safety are invaluable assets to companies like DMC Consultants and Michielutti Brothers.
Assisting Small Businesses
Tracy’s role involves assisting members in achieving and maintaining compliance with OSHA regulations. Most of our clients have fewer than ten employees and aren’t intentionally non-compliant. Tracy steps in to bridge this gap by developing written programs tailored to each client’s needs. She also provides essential training on various topics, including forklift operation, CPR, and silica safety. Her goal is to ensure that clients feel comfortable with OSHA regulations and confident in their ability to interact with OSHA officials if they visit the job site.
Expertise and Reassurance
Building a Culture of Safety
For Robert Michielutti of Michielutti Brothers, Tracy’s influence extends beyond compliance. He emphasizes how her involvement is becoming a cultural aspect of their operations. Robert encourages his employees to return home safely and with a sense of accomplishment, thanks to the value they derive from their work. Tracy’s positive attitude and expertise in safety help foster this environment, making employees feel good about their contributions and motivated to continue working safely.
At CAMComp, we are proud to have Tracy Nelson as a vital resource, helping our clients achieve a safe and compliant workplace while building a positive safety culture.
